Liz Hutchinson is a graduate of the School at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, MA and Tufts University, where she received a BA in Architectural Studies. She has interned with various Boston artists, including Carolyn Muskat, Bill Bancroft and Laura Davidson.

Her work consists of photography, small metalwork, and mixed-media artists' books. She combines a variety of techniques in her books, including hand-made paper, lithography, woodworking, and photography. At the beginning of 2008, she put together a show of her work titled Structural Intent, at Muskat Studios in Somerville, MA.  The show focused on architectural themes, featuring a
combination of photographs and artists' books.

In 2009, she moved to New Mexico to intern on an organic farm outside of Santa Fe.  Later on that year, her photographs from the farm were part of a group show at Muskat Studios, Working Proof 4, featurning the work of previous interns of the shop.  She also worked with Santa Fe's not-for-profit arts and music organization, The Process, designing marketing material for their music and film events.

Currently, she resides in Portland, OR, where she is continuing her artistic projects and pursuing a career in sustainable architecture and argriculture.
